Let’s Rally: Send 6-Year-Old Battling Leukemia, Son of Firefighters, Birthday Cards
The mother of a six-year-old Rhode Island boy battling leukemia has a special request for firefighters and first responders around the world — asking for us to send little Tyler Seddon a birthday card. Tyler turns six on March 6th and his mother, Rachel, wants it to be the best day of his life, WCVB reports
“He goes crazy over firefighters and police,” she said. “We want this to be a special birthday, because you never know what could be next.” Tyler’s parents are both volunteers with the Pascoag Fire Department.
Tyler’s mom is asking firefighters and first responders to send Tyler a birthday card. Firefighter Buzz and our First Arriving Network partners have been contacted by firefighters throughout the country this week asking us to lend our support to make this wish come true. Tyler is currently undergoing chemotherapy while he awaits a bone marrow donor. Let’s work together to make this a very memorable birthday.
